\u5929\u7136\u7d20\u6750\u3092\u4e2d\u5fc3\u306b\u3001\u6642\u306b\u306f\u7740\u7269\u3084\u53e4\u5e03\u3082\u4f7f\u3044\u306a\u304c\u3089\u3001\u30c7\u30b6\u30a4\u30f3\u304b\u3089\u7e2b\u88fd\u307e\u3067\u4e00\u679a\u4e00\u679a\u4e01\u5be7\u306b\u88fd\u4f5c\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After becoming a mother, I started making maternity clothes and children\u2019s clothes by taking apart my own clothes that I no longer wore. When I look at the clothes I have made, I am reminded of my elementary-school days. For my summer and winter vacation arts and crafts projects, I often made doll\u2019s clothes. And in my composition titled, \u201cWhat do you want to be when you grow up?\u201d I found I had written as follows, \u201cI want to be a fashion designer in the future.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking at my children dressed in the clothes I have made, gives me a great sense of accomplishment. By creating new clothes from old clothes with my whole heart, I feel a deep satisfaction and great purpose in life. My dressmaking activities started as kind of diary of my child-raising struggles. But now, it has become my lifework, that is to create a \u201ccycle of life\u201d in this world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, I am making clothes for many different people. Here in the developed world, we have an overabundance of clothes and the fashion industry is one of the causes of our environmental problems. The concept of fashion is becoming diverse and we are now able to choose many kinds of clothes. The intent of each designer and maker is different. In such a situation, I think wearing clothes equals to choosing the \u201cenergy\u201d that you want to wear. I believe that fashion is something that can express our feelings and heal our minds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a creator of clothes, but I also love choosing what to wear each day. The energy that I put into the making and choosing of my clothes is something that I want to deliver to my customers and my fashion sense continuously changes. Therefore, I always determine the concept of my exhibition based on my feelings and I put energy into creating comfortable clothes. I hope that my clothes will harmonize with the energy of the person wearing my creations and I pray that they will help to brighten their future and live well in this world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope I can connect with you who have chosen to wear my clothes or you who have felt something special in my works and together we can create a cycle of life. I also hope that my new clothes will be passed on from one person to another and eventually will be considered to be \u201cantique works\u201d in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
